Class Descriptions

Cardio/Aerobic Classes
Boot Camp: Combines cardio, core strength, and muscle endurance utilizing medicine balls, weights, tubing and other stability equipment.
Boxing: Jab, cross, hook and upper cut your way into a lean sculpted body using heavy bags, boxing gloves and boxing drills.
Cardio Fusion: Mix it up with various types of cardio activity to give you variety and a great workout.
Cardio Lite: Fun and lite cardio workouts with low impact moves that will get you moving without pain. Great for beginners.
GROUP ACTIVE: The perfect class for NEW exercisers AND one stop shoppers. Work your entire body in just one hour with easy to follow moves.
GROUP KICK: A choreographed class combining martial arts and boxing movements to improve cardio fitness and reshape your body.
GROUP STEP: A choreographed step class using the step in many positions and heights while working the entire body.
Rebounding: A high intensity, non-impact cardio workout on the mini trampolines including strength training intervals.
X-Treme Strength: Not your ordinary sculpting class. Get strong while working cardio, strength, and your entire core. Take the challenge!.

Cardio/Dance Classes
GROUP GROOVE: A choreographed dance class. A fusion of club, urban and Latin styles create a fun filled cardio dance class.
Zumba: A fusion of Latin and international music providing an interval training session that is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps.
Zumba Gold: Same fun Latin class as Zumba but with more modifications. Great for all levels.

Resistance, Toning, and Strength Training Classes
Absolution: A 15 to 30 minute toning session that focuses solely on firming and toning those hard to hit abs.
Arms and Abs: A quick 30-minute class that focuses on arms and abs.
Boot Camp: Combines cardio, core strength, and muscle endurance utilizing medicine balls, weights, tubing and other stability equipment.
Chizzel It: Work with hand weights, Body Bars, balls and more to blast the fat and define the muscle! All levels.
GROUP ACTIVE: The perfect class for NEW exercisers AND one stop shoppers. Work your entire body in just one hour with easy to follow moves.
GROUP POWER: A choreographed, music driven, weight training class designed to build strength and endurance using adjustable barbells.
Muscle Definition: Promote definition and tone using various resistance equipment to build strength and endurance. All levels.
On the Ball: Use the Stability Ball to tone, sculpt and strengthen the entire body.
Pilates Sculpt: Tone and sculpt the body as well as strengthen the core and improve posture while performing Pilates exercises.
X-Treme Sculpt: Sculpt your entire body in this 60 minute workout that is extremely effective and fun.
X-Treme Strength: Not your ordinary sculpting class. Get strong while working cardio, strength, and your entire core. Take the challenge!

Cycle
**Cycle: This indoor group cycling class consists of a trained instructor who physically and verbally guides participants through a routine or "journey" on a stationary bike. First time riders please come 10 minutes early to meet your instructor. A water bottle is mandatory and you will NEED a towel!
GROUP RIDE: A choreographed cycling program set to great music, matching terrain with tempo. Designed to be a safe effective ride - every time.

Mind/Body Classes
Advanced Pilates Ring: Work your core to new dimensions using the Pilates ring. Some Pilates experience preferred.
Classical Pilates: Activate your powerhouse in this traditional Pilates class that uses sequenced Pilates exercises.
Gentle Pilates: Pilates exercises at a slower pace with more modifications. Come away feeling stronger and longer.
Gentle Yoga: A simple Hatha class that will give you the benefits of Yoga with many modifications.
GROUP CENTERGY: Works all the major muscle groups through the mediums of Yoga, Tai Chi, and Pilates to music. An atheletic class and some familiarity with Yoga may be helpful.
Hatha Yoga: Hatha Yoga is the most traditional and familiar form of Yoga. Poses are practiced and modifications given for all levels. Intermediate Pilates: Enhance your current Pilates practice by taking your practice to the next level. Some Pilates experience preferred.
Intro Power Yoga: Designed to introduce you to Power Yoga.
Pilates Mat: Strengthen your entire body while focusing on core strength and stabilization. Improve your posture while creating long, lean muscles.
Pilates Reformer: Work in a group or private session in our Reformer room utilizing Pilates equipment. For a free demo and/or price information contact Doreen.
Pilates Sculpt: Tone and sculpt the body as well as strengthen the core and improve posture while performing Pilates exercises.
Power Yoga: Experience the dynamic breathing and a strong challenging pace building on traditional Yoga poses. Very Athletic. Yoga experience preferred.
Tai Chi: Discover complete harmony of the mind and body while performing graceful, fluid and well-balanced martial arts movements.
Vinyasa Yoga: A flowing style of Yoga filled with graceful movement. A basic knowledge of Yoga poses is helpful but not required.
Yogalates: You are sure to love this mix of Pilates and Yoga.
Yoga Lite: Simple Yoga poses that give you the benefits of Yoga without any pain.

Special Population (Seniors/Arthritis) LAND
Aqua Arthritis: Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program: Warm water therapy - great for anyone from rehab or with any type of arthritis. Ability to swim is not required.
Cardio Lite: Fun and lite cardio workouts with low impact moves. Great for beginners.
Gentle Pilates: Pilates exercises at a slower pace with more modifications. Come away feeling stronger and longer.
Gentle Yoga: A simple Hatha class that will give you the benefits of Yoga with many modifications.
GROUP ACTIVE: The perfect class for NEW exercisers AND one stop shoppers. Work your entire body in just one hour with easy to follow moves.
Joints in Motion: Warm Water therapy - increases joint mobility. Great for anyone from rehab or with any type of arthritis. Ability to swim not required.
Yoga Lite: Simple Yoga poses that give you the benefits of Yoga without any pain.

Aqua Classes

Aqua Cardio: Jump in and join this fun filled class designed to get you moving. Great for all levels.
Aqua Mix: Mix it up and have fun during this high energy workout made to get your heart rate up and burn calories.
Aqua Run: Take your run off of the treadmill and into the pool!
Aqua Sculpt: Use noodles, weights, gloves, boards and your own resistance to burn fat and define muscles while in the warm water pool. Ideal for recovering athelets and members of all levels.
H20 Blast: A high energy cardio workout that combines resistance training while you stay cool in the water.
Joints in Motion: Warm Water therapy - increases joint mobility. Great for anyone from rehab or with any type of arthritis. Ability to swim not required.
Lite Splash: This entry level shallow water class offers basic movements, gentle range of motion exercises, and "water walking".
Super Splash: Join this 90-minute class that that will work you in the deep water and therapy pool to get your heart pumping, your muscles strong, and increase your balance and flexibility.
