Congratulations to Lauren Frey, Princeton Fitness & Wellness Center's Group Fitness Instructor of the Month for February 2013!
Current Class Schedule:
"In high school, I was athletic during spring and summer, and sedentary during winter. My mom encouraged me to get off the couch, so we joined a gym together and hired personal trainers. We discovered cycling there, and went several times a week. I loved cycling because it incorporated music and beat; it almost felt like dancing on the bike. Cycling increased my self-esteem and improved my mood. It was also something special my mom and I could do together.
When I started college, I wanted to share cycling with other students my age. I got certified so I could teach at Rider and Princeton Universities. This also became a nice social outlet for me. I developed friendships with fellow cyclers. Cycling combines my interests in both physical fitness and music. Years after being introduced to cycling, a cycling class with my mom is still my favorite thing to do when I go home."
