Specialty: Corrective exercise; functional movement. "When thinking of eating something unhealthy, remember this: That piece of cake or ice cream may bring you two minutes of happiness, but 24 hours of pain." Bio: Personal Trainer John brings us fitness with an emphasis on sharing knowledge. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Health & Physical Education from Montclair State University. He is certified in nutrition and practical exercise from C.H.E.K. Institute. His experience includes instructing physical education to children in grades kindergarten through 12.Beyond teaching physical education, John's background includes providing sport-specific training for teens and young adults. He has also worked with senior populations, giving him a broad knowledge of evolving fitness skills and needs throughout life. Whether creating exercise programs for a young athlete or a client who wants to build stamina later in life, John delivers effective, customized fitness sessions. In his free time, John enjoys playing golf, and watching football and baseball. He's an avid Mets fan. John believes that you don't need to tackle "the whole staircase," only one step at a time. He looks forward to starting your upward journey on the right foot. |
