Bio: Personal Trainer Mike earned his bachelor's degree in multidisciplinary studies from West Virginia University, and his personal training certification from the International Sports Sciences Association. He is also certified in CPR/AED from the American Heart Association, first aid from the Red Cross, and youth coaching from the American Council on Coaching.Mike's experience includes physical education instruction to elementary school children, baseball and track-and-field coaching, and sport-specific training for youth. He was also an intern assistant strength trainer for the D1 West Virginia University football team. Mike coaches his clients toward their unique fitness goals. He specializes in highly effective weight loss programs for all ages. Each program is unique, customized for a member's lifestyle and fitness level. His background in athletics makes training with him a stellar experience for those wanting competitive edge in their game. His sessions focus on improving overall strength and flexibility, with special emphasis on core work and cardiovascular conditioning. His passion for running is evidenced by being a competitive cross country/ track-and-field runner for over 12 years. Mike also enjoys spending time at the beach, watching West Virginia University football games, and watching movies. His favorite food is pasta. Mike strives to bring happiness to each member by helping them achieve fitness goals. |
